| Venice is an amazing city with artistic delights at every turn. It truly was astonishing to see this city on water and to observe how it functions. Most of my fabric design ideas came from inspiration found at Basilica San Marco and Doge's Palace. My Venice colors were taken from the photos I took. As I worked with these colors they developed into three color stories; blue/gold, terracotta/green and pink/royal. Below you will find groups of designs in each color story. Each group ends with a quilt or two designed with fabrics from it's color story. |
